Steve Vassor
is the founder of cfurther company, a firm he established after leaving his post as the Campaign for Black Male Achievement’s (CBMA) Vice President of Membership.
While at CBMA, Steve grew the membership and amplified the power of its key events and activities.
Prior to CBMA, he has a 20 year track record serving and leading direct-service non-profit and municipal organizations with annual budgets ranging from $400,000 – $18 million.
Steve funded nonprofits and supported youth development strategies through his work with United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey. He supported & developed 28 Mentoring Partnerships across 22 states at MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership.
He launched three social ventures and served on several commissions and nonprofit boards. He continues to mentor and advise young people and emerging leaders.
Steve earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health from Morgan State University, and Master’s in Social Service Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
He is a proud father, husband, mentor, man of faith and action. He enjoys travel, and occasionally DJ’s online.
